Please Please....I was wondering if you were thinking about adding the ability to adjust the audio bitrate for the (Sapphire) Theatrix chipset cards?
Thanks

Check out the file "go.ini"
I think you can adjust the audio bitrates there.

nope..no entries for the audio bitrate...I recall sub mentioning a while back that this setting was fixed and could not be changed. It was something that might be added in a later release..

Thanks though

How about direct.ini, there is a settings section there called

[SETUP-LiveTV Quality]
VideoResolution=0
OutputType=14
BitRate=4500
AudioSampleRate=1
AudioBitrate=11
AudioOutput=0
BitRatePeak=7200
AudioCompression=11
EncodingMode=1

If you use bitcontrols codec it is possible to see "values" OSD.
I dont remember if audio bitrate showed, probably not.
http://www.bitcontrol.com

Try alter setting

No, unfortunately that wont work with these ATI 550 Pro cards. These cards use a different approach that the other cards for programmatically changing the bitrates. With these GB-PVR can change the video bitrate, and whether it is a constant bitrate of varible bitrate, but has no control over its audio bitrate so you end up with the default.
