I'm trying to play a 624x352 Xvid on my 4:3 tv. GBPVR scales the image to fill the entire screen, which of course results in a wrong aspect ratio.

How can I tell GBPVR to keep the original aspect ratio of the file?
I have tried the <MVP16x9Mode>-parameter, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Thanx.

The problem is that the MVP sees certain video sizes and automatically scales them to full screen.

I frigged my ffmpeg line in config.xml to make a slightly odd size and add some top padding to make it work, do a search in this topic for posts by me and you should find it.

Other than that, I strongly suggest you might want to have a look at this thread for what is probably a better solution

Thank you for the advice.
I had to recompile Ton's MVPRecoder in order to make it work with my version of mplayer (a misplaced space character in the memcoder command caused it to fail).
If there is any interest in the updated executable let me know, and I will post it.

Best regards

Have you read the whole MVPRecoder thread? I posted that error report a while ago and futher in the thread is an updated version.
