I just noticed my EPG wasn't right (only sowing partial listings for 3 out of 15 channels). I did a complete empty of the EPG and now I can't get it to import any data at all and I have no listings in the TV Guide.

I've tried -onlyupdateepg from the command line and also the Update EPG button on the capture sources (in this case it says it's reading the XML file for about a split second and that's it).

All cap. sources point at the same XMLTV data file which is up to date.

ANy ideas?

OK scratch that.

Scrolling through the TV Guide, I DO have listings for all channels now - just not until after 6AM (it's currently 3:50AM here). Not sure why this has happened or why my guide only had listings for 3 channels earlier. Not a single one of about 6 recordings took place yesterday (all marked as Pending even after they were all due to have completed). No sign of a recording service crash or anything in the logs. I had to restart my machine before the MVP would connect properley.

The machine has been up 24/7 for about a week since previous reboot without any hiccups at all. Aargth - I hate it when stuff like this just comes out of the blue - I'll be paranoid about this for at least the next couple of days.

Mumble, mumble...

Try logging into zap2it manually to make sure your password isn't expired.

A similar experience here....

Cleared the EPG, and then updated EPG. No listings at all, until I scrolled over to Tuesday March 14th, evening 6pm (EST).

This was Saturday morning (March 11th). Not sure why the missing guide info. Checked with zap2it and my membership doesn't expire until end of the month.
