A few things I'd like in the TV Guide:

I'd like a way to display more channels at once in the TV guide (10, 15, or 20 channels instead of the current 7). An option for smaller fonts, to lose the "TV Guide" header, or whatever.

In addition, I'd like the listing to stop at the bottom when scrolling down instead of wrapping around. The way it is now, I often scroll through the same channels not realizing I've already gone all the way through the list.

I'd also like a way to jump to a specific day and/or a specific time (Next Saturday at 3pm for example), without having to scroll all the way through the week to get there.

Thanks!

I'd also like some indicator whether the selected show is a new episode or a repeat.

If the show is a movie, it would be nice to know what year it was released.

Thanks!

You can already create a skin to do this.

Sorry, I wont be changing this. It used to be this way, but due to a large number of requests, I changed it to how it is today.

You cant currently jump to a specific day/time, but were you aware that the skip key will jump a day at a time?

Excellent! It took a bit of fiddling, but I hacked together a skin for the TV guide to show all 13 of my channels at once.

Not a problem now that everything fits on one screen. .

Control/Right arrow? I didn't know that, but I can make do with that.

I'd still like some indicator for new/repeats, and to have the year of movies displayed.

Thanks again!

If you're using XMLTV to collect your guide info you might be able to append this stuff to your guide before GBPVR imports it. Ive no idea how to do so and it probably depends on what info your TV channles provide but im using Alan Birtles XMLTV grabber in the UK and it includes options to do the equivalent of what you're asking.

So given the right info, you can do it. Ive just no idea how if you're not in the UKBig Grin

I created a updated skin for the Collection Skin.
You can fit 13 channels in on one screen.
