Missing channels

I am missing some channels from the TV Guide Ch 42, 43 & 50 to name a few.
I have dumped the EPG and then refreshed it.
If I use the GB-PVR Coniguration channel 42 shows up there but as Home & Garden TV - thats what it was before SHAW changed the line-up. Now its the Turner Classic Movie Channel.
It appears as if somethoing is stuck in the past and not getting updated when I refresh the EPG.
If I know a certain program is on channel 42 I can search for it and it will show me it's on Ch 42 at a certain time. It also shows the correct channel name: Turner Classic Movies
If I then ask it to record it..it will instead record whatever is on channel 4 at that time.
Sorry if this has already been dealt with - I did a search but couldn't see the same problem.

It may just be me but I have nothing to add whatsoever without knowing:-

a) What capture device you're using
b) How you are updating the EPG

In the absence of this, my only advice would be to re-tune and re-map channels.

Sorry for omitting that info:
Capture device is Hauppage WinTV PVR USB2
First time I updated EPG by just hitting the Update button in the GB-PVR Config utility.
After that didn't work I hit the Empty EPG button - and then hit the Update EPG button again.
