Hi all,

I purchased a PVR-150MCE from BestBuy (in Canada), in a sealed box. I opened it up and found a PVR-150. I'm not overly concerned, I was after a PVR-150 anyway & couldn't find one in stock. It came with the 45 button remote & IR blaster as well.

It also came with drivers for win2K & XP so it definately doesn't require media center. In fact I'm running it under XP pro right now.

Anyone know what the deal is though? I suspect this is part of the confusion between the models lol.

Cheers!

You sure it wasnt the PVR150MCE bundle. It also comes with a remote and IR blaster/receiver until, but its a different one to the model shipped with the regular PVR150 retail package.

I'll check when I get home.

What I can say for certain, looking at hauppage's web page. My card & remote physically match the ones pictured here: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/...vr150.html

I do not have the card pictured here:
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/...50mce.html

The box absolutely says PVR-150MCE.

Cheers!

I have bought my 150 from Best Buy also , twice and they were the non-mce version. The MCE cersions I have seen have a MCE remote with them , and I don't think they came with the IR blaster.

My 2 cents....

I have the mce version of the card and it came WITH the MCE remote AND the IR blaster. Mine looked like the 2nd pic, not the first one.
