I am trying to use transcode on the xdvd plugin and am having issues.
I decrpyt the DVD using DVD decrypter into a single IFO file and then am trying to use the xdvd plugin in to convert it to mpeg format to view over my media mvp.
On smaller sized DVD's it works great like kid shows or cartoon DVD's.
The problem I am having is larger movies like Walk the Line or Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
the decoding goes fine and then xdvd starts to decode it and everything looks great except when the mpeg file size reaches 2.3 gig the PF Usage starts creeping from around 500 mb to 3 gig and I get a VLC.exe error and it quits. The mpeg file size stops around 2.5 gig.
The quality of the part that was converted is excellent but it just can't transcode the whole movie without PF usage creeping up to 3 gig and erroring out.
I am sure I am doing something wrong but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
edit; I am using gbpvr 95.16 and VLC 0.8.4a
