I'm running the new dongle now without a single hang or reboot so far, but it's only been a day so far but very very promising. Everything seems to be much more stable than before. So I'd say go for it to anyone waiting to upgrade. Both the MVP drivers and gbpvr. A friend of mine is going the same root this evening. So hopefully he'll add to the general feeling that this has been the best release for a while. Well done Sub.
sub Wrote:Yes, it should do. The message from the change log was:
The thing I failed to mention was that older models of MVP could also use these newer dongles that ship with the H models. Either way, it should support their slightly different boot up sequence.
Is this new dongle.bin installed with GB-PVR v0.97.07, or do I have to download it from somewhere?

I don't see that file anywhere in the gbpvr tree. I assume it should be in the dongle directory. No big deal...I can get it elsewhere...but it doesn't seem to be installed in .97, at least not for me...
No problems to report with .97, BTW...seems to work just fine...
Right you are. I thought I'd included it, but I guess I didnt. Its not a biggy though - just download it yourself and drop the file in the dongle directory.
