Windows Media Center 2005 and MVP

Hi,

I have my home automation system running in MCE and I would really like to launch MCE in MVP.

I added added a Custom link in the plugin tab for MCE and it works on my PC but not on the MVP setup. When launched in MVP it comes up with a message 'Executing external .....' and hangs.

Any help with this ?

These are used to run things on the PC, not on the MVP. This will not work.

You gotta buy an expensive 'media extender' to use with MCE. The MVP won't work. That's why I ditched MCE and went with GB-PVR (well, one of the reasons...).
