They will send you an email about every 90 days to make sure you are still alive, you will need to login and tell it to renew. They do not charge for the renewal, but make sure you keep your account updated if your change your email.

I believe this is a universal notation. US is mm/dd/yyyy and Europe is dd/mm/yyy
