getting started

I have recieved PVR500/radio but was surpriced not to be able to use it on WXP, without 3'part-sw.
I have now installed GB-PVR, which sounds like THE product. However I can't fig out how to get going ;(
The config. contains a lot of abrevations, that tells me nothing, but I setup like following:
Recording device: Name: "TV1" Direct Recording Plugin" -> "hauppauge PVR500" "Denmark" "capture device#1" "internal tuner" "live tv"
EPC source: "none"
"no channel changer requered"

To start I just want to watch TV, on both tuners, and the goon from there.
I have scanned all channels and found ~50 in the channelscanner, but how do I get thos channels into the GBPVR?
I've tried one channel manually which is selectable in TVmode, but this gives very bad and schivering picture.

the wiki (link on gbpvr homepage) has a quickstart guide that should enable you to figure out what you need to do to get everything up and running.

did the pvr500 not come with the wintv 2000 software? if not you can download this from the manufacturers website. It might be a good idea to make sure you can get it working 100% ok with a good picture before setting up gbpvr.
