Hello--

I am new to GB PVR and I am really enjoying the software. Unfortunately, I am having difficulty with the OSD feature. I am using the Hauppauge 150 PVR with the remote and I can sometimes get the OSD to appear for one recording but then I can't get it to appear for another recording. I really like the OSD because it can tell me where the commercials are and how long I have left in the recording. Am I doing something wrong? I am pressing the blue button for the OSD feature.

Thanks!
Paul

Sorry for the Thumbs Down symbol. I thought it was a question mark!

Is it a particular type of file you've noticed this on?

The most common cause of missing OSD is because you're using the Cyberlink video decoder with VMR. The Cyberlink decoder is not compatible with VMR until you add some Cyberlink registry settings. Which video decoder do you have set in the config app?

I am using the system default with VMR 9. I'll change it to InterVideo and see if that makes it work each time. The strange thing is that it will work with one video recorded in the day and not work with another recorded in the same day.

You could also try changing to overlay instead of vmr9.
