Trying to figure out how to solve my problem. I get a really good quality picture with the cyberlink video decoder. But sometimes after skip (comskip initiated or remote initiated) the screen gets really jittery.

I'm not talking jittery as slow, but the screen is very "flashy" for movement.

To sort it out i can normally skip again, or I've figure out hit pause.

I'm hopeing one of the guys really up there on their video knowledge might be about to help.

My Video cards is an ati x550, running out of the composite. Using the cyberlink 7 video decoder. I've got VMR9 set, I haven't tried overlay yet.

When it's not flassy it's a really nice picture, that's why I'd like to try and fix it.

Any one with some suggestions? I've tried the intervideo and while I don't get these problems, the picture looks quite soft and fuzzy.

you could try the quartz.dll - 9.0b fix - just search for it somewhere that might fix your jittery pictures.

Ok, I've found the dll, and some of those forums messages certainly sound what I've got. "Psycostrobic" like the term....

I'm glad I put in that new hardware now, even on my composite cable it's looking great, roll on the big screen Big Grin (It's not if, it's when, I keep telling the wife )
