History of GBPVR?

This is a pretty good question and the only one sub didn't answer (not that he has to of course). I'm sure a few other folks have wondered the same.

i.e. One guy, MASSIVE, MASSIVE support ... how on Earth can he do it both financially and Time-wise? A labour of love gone mad?

No, I'm not trying to sell GB-PVR.
