scanning for channels with firedtv

Am trying to scan for channels on the ntl ex c&w cable with my firedtv without success. I have edited the ini file to correspond with my base rate symnol rate and qam settings but the scan never finds a single channel.
have searched on here and tried almost everything I can think of any ehlp please..

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

It just looks like it doesnt look on to any signals as its scanning. Are you positive you've got the correct frequency/symbol rate/modulation in you ini file? Have you been able to confirm your device with BDA drivers is function by testing these channels with another app?

After some uninstalling etc I rescanned again and this time it picked up 340 odd channels so got that side working great.
Next problem though

does gbpvr support cam?
Whenever I insert my trex/dragon cam into the fredtv's ci slot the free to air channels lock up and a message tells me that no signal has been detected. Even though both signal and quality bars are full.
so Currently I'm unable to watch any scrambled channels with my viewing card.

Also is it possible to backup the channels in anyway in case something goes wrong?
