I know that the MCE has been model again and again in your themes..
the skin size wouldnt really affect the mvp memory, gbpvr creates the same size image to be sent to the mvp no matter what is in the skin, it may take gbpvr longer to create the same sized image to send to the mvp, but shouldnt affect its memory. the mvp would only see the final composite image, and not each element of it.

Not 30mb all at once used in the skin. I probably have less images on screen at any time than one of your skins. I do have a lot of images that the user can use Appearance Manager to change. Button styles and backgrounds mostly. That makes the bulk of the download. It includes many language files as well to be used by AM. I also include a "Theme" of the original skin to restore it from themepacks and I include "Patches" to themes to get them to work with mine. A good deal of the download is never used. That is why I am going to be breaking it up into a modular form. Make the download burden smaller for those with lower bandwidth.

Otherwise it is no bigger than one of your skins to download in its basic form and use for MVP users. In fact, I would love to hear what MVP users think about it and such since I do not have one. I don't know what works and what doesn't.

My skin is modeled after blue when it is its natural state (and High-vis when possible without font clipping).

Most of the themepacks that Mixman created are based off of the MCE2 skin because that was his model to follow. Plus it is a rather nice looking skin design. It is alot like yours in using images whenever possible.

more blah blah blah than you probably wanted to read. I have a way of overstating things

I know you try... Smile How come you don't have MVP? You live in Detroit so you should be able to get one there. That's if you want too? No biggy! Whatever you design for the S-video output to TV should be good enough.

By-the-way I like to read long replies, it shows me you have a lot to say from your mind to the screen. As you know I do that same thing Smile

I am a west coast michigan guy. Right by South Bend In. (Notre Lame fighting Irish territory) I have yet to see any MVP's in the local stores. I wouldn't mind picking up one of the cheap ones.
