Hi there - long time no post I'm afraid..
I've a friend who'd like to watch digital TV on his laptop using GBPVR. The trouble is that his laptop doesn't have USB2 ports.
I was thinking about grabbing a USB2 Hub PCMCIA card and a cheap-ish USB2 DVB-T stick. Is there any reason why this shouldn't work? I have looked for straight PCMCIA DVB-T tuners, but choices seem to be limited - plus the added bonus of having USB2 ports added to the lappy is a bonus.
Money is quite tight, so as cheap as possible, but a solution that works reliably is a must. Can anyone recommend some hardware?
Many many thanks as always,
S.
