Have had problem with stuttering video on a twinhan dvb-s CI PCI card (on many apps not just GBPVR).
I investigated this and read around etc. and have found that drivers since version 1.2.1.9 seem to have a problem with stuttering. Symptom is video runs normally except for stutters every 4 seconds or so. You could waste an awful lot of time trying to fix the problem (codecs, signal strength, shared interupts, pci slot etc etc. ) if you did not realise it was the actual device driver causing the problem.
So before trying other things get hold of 1.2.1.9 bda drivers and give them a try.
However on my setup GBPVR 97.9 cannot tune the old drivers correctly (maybe I have to look at what the drivers are called in the setup files etc) as twinhan like to rename them - much to Sub's annoyance I'm sure.
Hope this helps anyone who has this issue. I was near giving up with windows and trying a linux based solution.
