Any sales on MediaMVP right now?

I really want to buy another couple MVP's but I don't see any sales going on and I don't want to pay full price.

Does anyone see any sales out there or know of any coming up?

I bought my MVP at Circuit City last year and have seen many sales from them since then on it but I don't even see it selling on their website anymore.

The cheapest I found mine was 85 bucks at Provantage... I got one a couple of weeks ago... it was a Rev H2 ... and been problematic, I sent to a buddy to see if he had the same troubles...

I'm guessing you're in the USA with the Circuit City comment, so you may want to try the more isolated Radio Shack stores in your area. Radio Shack had MVPs on incredible close-out, and I've been able to find one in stock as recent as a couple of months ago. Late last year I bought all the ones in NE Florida/SE Georgia that I could get my hands on, kept one (as a second), sent one to Sub, and sold the rest on eBay for what Hauppauge is selling them for in their online store. Made a nifty profit which more than paid for the original MVP, PVR150, PVR500, and some other toys from eBay. They're still around, but you'll have to look really hard (by phone). The more isolated the Radio Shack, the better chance you'll have. I'd forget about any of the stores in the malls.

I called a few Radio Shacks in my area and they were all out. They can be ordered on their web for $92 which is too high.

I think I'm going to wait a bit and see if a deal comes up in the next month.

It seems like Circuit City has had them on sale every month or so.

I'd really like to get them for around $60 or $70 and I'd like to see which revision they are before buying. I have seen a few people discussing possible H revision problems so I'd like to stay away from those if possible.

That's pretty funny because Radio Shack put them on closeout a while back because there "...is a new model coming out." So now after they've sold all their remaining stock for a ridiculously low closeout price, they're willing to special order it for more than what it would cost to buy it from the Hauppauge store? What nitwit handles their buying/inventory?
