Theatre Listing Plugin,No Settings?

This is on my todo list (I have written a bit of code to do this, but not much so far), but unfortunately I don't know when I will be able to have this working. There are other things I want to do first. There is a UK listings written by McBainUK. If you are outside of the US or UK, there isn't anything as of right now. Where are you from? Also do you know of any websites that have movie/theater listings for your area? Thanks.

Bugg*r (that should give you a clue ...). Not the US or UK.... Never mind, I'm sure there'll be a global one eventually.... I guess the question isn't so much as where folks are from but where they live :-)

Ok, I will look into these. I notice the first one is a static listing ( http://www.cityline.com/eng/movie/byMovieStep1.html ), with no zip codes (or equivalent in HK). It just lists a bunch of theaters and movies. How are these divided up into areas? Sorry, Southern California person here, I am not familiar with Hong Kong at all.

LOL . Area Codes? HK has a total area of 422 sq mi (1092 sq km), (with 6.7Million people). I guess you could say there are districts, but the url I gave you doesn't really differentiate theatres by districts (aside - that site notes that in French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish that "Hong Kong" is called ... wait for it .... "Hong Kong" ...)

Aatually the listings are more by locales where there are theatres (or even generic "theatre names"). I'm not sure if that helps? I'd be happy with "theatre names".

lol well guess I need to expand my knowledge on Hong Kong. I will make a note of that site and see what I can do for you. I have to be honest, I have no clue when I will be able to get to adding other countries listings at this time. I have a list of other things I plan on working on first (it will make it easier to add additional countries as well).

Hi Brian,

I was wondering what the current status of the plugin was with non-US cities and if it were possible to load listings via an XML scraper?

I could probably have a crack at using a scraper (www.TVXB.com) in the same way as I had to get it working for all my (6#) TV channels, if the plugin could support that method in a current or future version?

To be honest, not much. I have been extremely busy at work, and family things are taking up most of my time lately. I haven't forgotten about the enhancements, just trying to find some time to get working on it. I am hoping that after the next week or so things will calm down for me and I will get some time to work on it.

As soon as I get some code down on it, I will let you know so you can try it out for me
