[Newbie] Is This Setup Ok?

Ok, I guess i've settled on the PVR150 then... since it comes with the IR Blaster (that's how hauppauge explained it to me. Sound right?). It also comes with "WinScheduler" or something for tv scheduling. Mind if I ask how that differs from GBPVR? Is WinScheduler just the "schedule and record" and not the playback functionality?

So as it stands i'm going PVR150 and then replacing my video card at some point with an ATI that does TV Out so I can hook it back to the TV to watch the recordings on the TV.

Sound like i've got everything I need?

Its a little below the recommended minimum CPU. It'll still work, but may be a little sluggish. I usually recommend a 1GHz Pentium 3 class CPU, or slight higher if you intend to use MVP clients.

Im not even sure how good it would be with a good processor...It seems fine now...but :confused: It give me a headache knowing that ive been running gbpvr on a computer that shouldnt be used for it... Its probably insanely slow compared to a decent system...Soon..Soon I will know!
