Hello all,
I've been using GBPVR for about a year now, and things were working perfectly, up until my hard drive crashed. I have now installed a new drive, and reinstalled the OS (XP SP2), and all the latest drivers from Hauppauge's website (PVR-350), as well as the latest GBPVR (97.13).
Everything works, but the recordings that I'm getting are terrible since the reinstall.
I'm using the default Medium settings, which were fine before, but now the recordings are very blocky and digitzed looking. I've tried using the high quality settings, which help, but even then the quality of the recordings aren't as good as what I used to get at medium, and the file sized are almost twice as big!
It's not a playback issue, as I can play the recordings on my other computers in the house with the same results. I'm guessing that something must have changed with the Hauppauge drivers? Since my old drive is trashed, I have no idea what version I was using previously.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin
