Return to Current Position within Directory listing

I notice that when for example I select a photo, or video file to view from a list of many and then stop viewing (hit STOP button) I am returned to the top of the directory listing rather than the position at which I had just selected the file to view. Nothing major, just means I have to scroll all the way down the list again to select the next file. On my HTPC the GUI response it not very quick so it takes a while to scroll back down the list to select the next item. Would be great if I was returned to the same position in the list from where I left.
