How do I configure GB-PVR to do the following:

I want to record "the daily show with John Stewart" every day. It is on several times a day. The new episode is on at 11:00 PM. It repeats at 1:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM (all on the following day).

I want to record each episode once (so I don't fill up my hard disk), but if I have a scheduling conflict, I want it record from one of the other time slots (so I never miss an episode).

Can I do this with a standard install?

Or, do I need other plug-ins?

Thanks.

This would be great - I think xrecord and cdk scheduler (see wiki) have more advanced options for conflict resolution, however I'm unsure if they are intellegent enough to check if any of the conflicts could be recorded at another time

If there was support for this I think it would only be possible for people using zap2it for EPG as IIRC they are the only EPG provider that assigns ids to each of their shows...

This isnt a feature I've added because in the majority of locations in the world, the listings do not contain identifiers that can be used to tell that a show is the same as some other show at a different time. This information is only available in the USA zap2it listings, so would be of no use to me here in New Zealand.

I've installed the xrecord and cdk scheduler, but the PriorityRecording.exe does not work in PostUpdateEPG.bat.

In searching the forums, it appears that the PriorityRecording.exe does not work with 97.7.
(something about it needing to be recompiled with Net 2.0).
