Divx playback and converting

Well I finally have most of this figured out. I have one major issue though. When playing Divx recordings over my MPV, it squishes the pictur and seems to stretches it. So much so that only the upper half of my TV can see the show/movie. How do I get it to play it full screen?

Also, I have setup gbpvr to convert my recordings to Divx in the middle of the night. It works great, but where can I control how it converts it, like bitrate and size?
