Hey.

Excuse the verboseness of this post, but I've had a number of issues which have been annoying me for a while. Thought it best to post them in one, rather than spam the heck out of the board with seperate problems.

On a fresh install of XP (SP2), and the latest GBPVR - I'm experiencing a lot of issues with live TV, DVD and recording.

Live TV - Mainly fine for the most part, but changing to E4+1 and a few other channels, shows a black screen (with audio), and then it follows suit for any channel selected afterwards. This only seems to be cured by jumping back to the TV guide.

Recording - Works with 50/50% success rate. sometimes shows record without issues, sometimes the selected recording does not even start when "play" is selected from the context menu.

DVD - Disks play as usual, when they hit the root menu, they bug out, black screen, PVR stops responding and has to be killed via task manager.

TV signal is good in both strength and quality, and I have tired a multitude of DVD software decoders, BDA muxes and MPEG options, the same issues are apparent regardless.

I'm running an AMD64 3000+, 6200 64meg card, 512meg of RAM, Hauppauge Nova-T PCI & Club 3D Zap TV2200-- can't attach logs now as at work, but shall try to later today- just wondered if anybody had any ideas regarding these issues beforehand.

I'm guessing these are related to post #7 in the sticky 'v0.97.13 survival guide' thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=17730

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried the patch (I assume you just give the supplied file a .dll extension?), but this just makes gbpvr.exe and config.exe crash with unhandled exception errors. I have 2.0 installed- I really can't fathom this.

Some Internet Explorer uses have problems downloading zip attachments from this web site. It relates to the web server trying to compress an already compressed file.

If you extract the file and rename it .zip, then open that, you should see a .DLL file.

Everything is all patched up but no changes.

I'll try and up some logs over the weekend.
