Full Guide in Live TV Mode

My satellite receiver allows two sizes of guide when watching TV. One is small and similiar to the mini-guide in GBPVR, and the other takes up most of the picture.

An option to show a full guide in LiveTv mode would be nice so you can navigate the guide while a commercial is on in the background. I find scrolling through the mini-guide slow with only 2 channels displayed at a time.

Maybe this can be solved with just a skin setting change on my part?

Yes, it can be changed by editing c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\blue\tv guide\live-skin.xml

Ok I would like to this too only I want if possible to make it transparent. So you can still see the channel behind the full guide. I try to edit it butit did nothing any ideas! All I did was put visibleChannels="7" but it still only shows 3...I did restart the gbpvr but no luck...

Did you also change the location="x,y" setting in there? You'd need to do this to show it further up the screen. Otherwise the new channels you added would be off the bottom of the screen.

Try the Advisor skin. It has a 7 channel OSD giude.
I haven't added description yet, but I will in future.

to compensate for the overscan I modified the OSD guide and add more slots but still have problem with the black transparent background I don't know where change his location in order to drawing upper in the screen. any help?

All I can say is GBPVR is wonderful....

I just modified my live-skin for the pop-up TV guide. It now shows 5 lines instead of 2, and the bottom half of the screen no longer gets overlaid. I tried out the Advisor skin, but kind of like Blue. I think this is all I changed, dunno if removing the background elements is the wrong thing to do, but it works.
