I recently installed GBPVR and after some searching thorugh the forums got it to work - or so I thought. Timed recording and playback is fine both via the PC and via an MVP. I can also start up GBPVR and go to Live TV, change channels and Timeshift on the PC but if I then exit Live TV and try to go back into it I get the error:

No Signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough.

If I open WINTV 2000 then there clearly is a signal and a perfect picture. If I close GBPBVR and then open it again I can go back to watching Live TV on the PC.

Trying to watch Live TV on via the MVP crashes the server program and it has to be restarted on the PC.
I am running Windows 2000 with a WINTV Nova T tuner. Can anyone help?

Did you apply the patch from the sticky 'v0.97.13 survival guide' thread?

Is that the NativeUtilities.zip file? I've downloaded it but WinZip doesn't recognise it as a valid file and can't open it?!!

I think this is a IE problem. Try to download with an other browser. Or: extract with winzip anyway, then rename the extracted file to whatever.zip and extract with winzip again, now it should work.

Thanks for that. I should have used 'Save target as' instead of just clicking on the link. It downloaded and unzipped and after replacing the old .dll with the new one Live TV now appears to be OK. I haven't yet tried via the MVP. Thanks Sub for the prompt response.

More or less got everything working now including Live TV on the MVP. The only thing I can't do is change channels using the numbers on the MVP remote. It appears that there is no 'mapping' for the number buttons?
