DVDRipper Plugin Help

I installed the DVDRipper Plugin and tried using it yesterday with mixed results. I have had DVD Decrypter installed for some time and I have used it may times to create ISO images of DVDs. It has always worked fine.

When I tried to use it with GBPVR/DVDRipper Plugin it started DVD Decrypter and GBPVR updates the screen to the screen that shows next and then DVD Decrypter shutsdown with no error messages and GBPVR goes back to the original DVDRipper screen asking me to start again. This all happens in about a one second period.

What logs are needed to see what is going on? I would love to post them.

Does DVD Decrypter need to have certain settings before this will work?

Any tips are welcome.

Had you already configured the DVD Ripper Plugin for the place of the DVD Decrypter?

Yes I did. DVD Decrypter does start but only for a second.

Have you checked the correct DVD-ROM Letter within config.exe?

Yes I have. I can play a DVD in GBPVR just fine.

Just a side note - Every DVD I play (from the disk, not a ripped file) shows the sub titles. I have been unsuccessful at turning them off.

Interesting.. could you please activate the "debug" logging within you config.exe, instead the default "error" mode. If you do this, then please start gb-pvr and do all you normally do to rip a dvd. Then exit and zip the logfiles for attaching them.

It's possible, that someone else could help, if not me.

You could try the video archive plug-in. It will also rip DVDs.

make sure that you can use dvd decrpyter stand alone first...if you have two drives then you have to set it up in DVD decrypter. Also go in and turn off all the warnings in DVD decrypter.

I have used it many times standalone. I will try to turn off all warnings and see what I get. Thanks!

I had a question regarding this actually. I downloaded the dvd ripper but when I went to get dvd decrypter I got a message saying that they had been bought by macrovision europe and that the licensing terms have been changed. Is there somewhere I can get an older version or is there something else I can use in its place?
