Hi guys, just got this up and running sucessfully and am using it through MediaMVP.

The problem I have is a recording that's showing up in my recordings screen but it doesn't exist. What's worse is that it won't let me delete it. When selecting delete it waits for approx 10 seconds then returns to previous screen but the listing is still there. Other programs will delete so don't know what the problem is.

I have found the database where the listing is located (gbpvr.mdb) and the table it's in (RECORDING_SCHEDULE) so I've deleted it and all seems OK (made a backup of the DB just in case though).

Can anyone tell me if I've done the correct thing to resolve this error so is this going to cause problems later on down the line?

Thanks

Nick

There is a patch in the sticky 'v0.97.13 survival guide' thread that addresses the bug with deleting recordings that dont have a recording file.

Wow, lightening fast response. That's a really useful guide. I tried it and it worked a treat. I assume I was OK editing the DB like I did but obviously it's better if the GUI works. And it now does.

I've also applied the other patches for possible problems using a DVB card as I'll be adding one to my PC soon (just using a Dbox at the moment).

Thanks for your help.

I tried setting a schedule for GBPvr to record two instance of Star Trek last night. One was on Sky One and the other was on Sky Two. I knew the Sky Two recording would fail because it's not set up in my channel listings yet.

It put both recordings inside the same folder. I went it and it showed one that was successful and one that had failed. I went into the one that had failed and deleted it but it also deleted the one that was successful.

Any ideas? I will try it again tonight incase I did something by mistake but I'm pretty sure I selected just the failed one to delete and not the entire folder with both recordings in.
