No album art in ML2?

Hi,
Am I correct that currently ML2 does not support album art? It used to work before my upgrade to v0.97 last weekend. Now I changed the gbpvr core and all plugins to the ones that were available Saturday one week ago...

Yes it's true at the moment. psycik has moved away from a particular MP3 library because clashes were occuring with different plugins and he hasn't yet figured how to get the AlbumArt from the WMP facilities. I have been searching the documentation and admit that I haven't found it either.

Nah it's pretty hard to find. As far as I know Windows Media player must keep things as files as well. It's confusing.

The file based album art still works, folder.jpg for an album or if you want you can also have mp3Filename.jpg will work as well.

I've recently done a clean install of the latest ML2 with GBPVR v.98.8 and had a problem where existing album art displays fine as usual but when I add new album art (folder.jpg) it doesn't display. I've tried Library Update but this has no effect. I've tried a few times but in all cases it displays the default headphones image.

ahh, that might be a "by design" bug.

If you introduce art after a track has been scanned it will not update the database to say that there is art for that track.

You could try navigating to a track and press ok on it to bring up the media details screen, then press record (ctrl-k) and it should "save" the new information it has read, including the album art.
