That's a tough question to answer. I doubt many of the people here have much of a clue about the prices of computer components in the philippines... You'd be best off writing down what you need/want and go to your local computer store and ask.
I'm not always right
GB-PVR 1.2.9
Accent HT-400 Case, AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 1024MB, 1TB+300GB+180GB, WinXP Pro-SP2, NVidia 7600GT
Nova-T USB2, PVR-350 recording from Dilog 355 DVB-T box, USB-UIRT (receiving & transmitting)

stefan is right (as usual)

the software is free (gbpvr) you will have to have windows installed on it then the rest off is how much you want to record and what else you want to do

I'm not sure I'm answering your question, but if your inquiring about what sort of new computer you'd need, I think you'd be ok buying the cheapest - lowest end machine you can buy. For example, if you can buy a Dell mail order, any dell sold will have sufficient power to run the GBpvr software. - and that's your price!

The one are you'll want to upgrade would probably be the harddrive capacity. I would personally consider a 250 ggi drive the minimum capacity - after other things 9 like the opersating system) are done using up drive space, this will probably leave you with enough space to store almost 200 hours of medium quality tv. That may sound like alot now, but it not once you start recording!

I think most system video cards sold these days are good enough for display on a standard definition TV - just make sure it has s-video TV out if you plan on hoooking up to a TV.

There are also alot of posts on minimum acceptable hardware, and hardware in general on this board... search around and good luck!

ps : obviously, you'll also have to add a video capture card. Get a hauppauge 150 or 500 as that's most widely supported and will ensure the most smooth roll-out of your system.
