I'd like to be able to use the entire interface just using a pointing device, and not have to rely on a keyboard or remote (I use a wacom tablet instead of a mouse on a machine without a remote). I can use pretty much everything EXCEPT the tv guide. This is because there is no way to scroll left or right (or up and down) just using the mouse. I'd like some buttons (or better still, screen regions) that I can click or pull about to scroll the tv guide in that direction. At the moment I have to resort to a keyboard for navigation. Is this supported? I haven't seen any skins with it in.

There is some disabled by default skin setting to show navigation buttons in the TV Guide. Take a look in the "TV Guide\skin.xml" file and it should be pretty obvious. (I'm not in front of a PC with GB-PVR at the moment)

That said, there are lots of other thing that cant be dont be done with a mouse in GB-PVR. The reality is that GB-PVR has been primarily designed with keyboard/remote in mind.

yeah, that's true. I mostly "mouse it" when I'm running GB as a remote streaming client. The only things I really want to do like that are a) watch live or recorded tv wherever me and my laptop are, and b) check out the tv guide. I hardly use a mouse/keyboard at all on my main pc.

Thanks for the pointer - good to know it's there somewhere. I'll check it out.

yep - found it - showNavigation="true" in the skin.xml file.

Also found a problem. If I extend my tv guide display time out beyond the default 2 hours, the arrow icons are rendered underneath the guide itself (at least, the rightmost one is), meaning you can't click on it. Not sure if this is just something to do with the skin (I use sasari). Not a biggie.
