Since I installed the latest release of GBPVR I noticed that my MVP is running sluggish. I press a button on the remote and it takes a couple of seconds before it moves to the next. I have also noticed that if I stop a program it takes for ever for the blank screen to go away and the options screen to return. When I get to the end of the progam. It was never this slow before.

Any ideas?

I dont know. I've not seen any other reports indicating this, and it seems fine here.

Thanks for responding Sub. The fact of the matter is I usually have to shut off the MVP from the remote and then turn it back on. It goes through the search for the server loop and then cranks up the appropriate skin otherwise it takes quite a long time before it goes back to the main menu. It just sits there with a blank screen and the irritating yellow line and Hauppauge emblem which occupies one third of the screen area. Takes a long time at least a couple of mnutes before it returns to the main screen. I get this whenever I stop the MPG or the file completes playing.

Are you using the dongle.bin that came with GBPVR 98.08? You shouldn't be seeing the yellow line and Hauppauge emblem.

Can you provide the specifics of your setup?

This may be completely different, but I had a slow MVP and people mind find this searching. What was happening is that after waking up from S3 sleep I was getting a ton of hardware interrupt activity from my SATA drivers/controller. I don't have any SATA drives, so I just disabled the controllers. My problem was solved. This also made GBPVR on the server slow. A reboot fixed the problem, and it didn't always happen after a sleep/wake cycle. Again, your problem may be completely different, but for anyone with weird problems after waking, it's something to consider. I used Process Explorer from SysInternals.com to see the activity.
