LOL ... actually the original intention was a single card dual tuner solution due to fewer slots in newer smaller MB's, but I never made that clear in the blurb I guess:-).

By default two of anything serves the same purpose as a Dual Tuner option. I have a H PVR150 very plain vanilla, works great.

Sorry, I don't know why I was thinking that you had one of them :o

The current description (at the start of this thread and on the wiki) reads:

Quote:It's a dual ATSC/QAM 64 & 256. Some other site users have got it working with GBPVR. Refer these posts Post 1 and Post 2.

Those links no longer exist. They referred to using the External Recorder plugin and subsequently a plugin I wrote based on the External Recorder. The plugin is now deprecated because BDA drivers are now available for the device. So it is now "officially" supported in GB-PVR. It does require that the bda.ini entries be manually added because the filter name entries will be different for each device. Instructions can be found here.

I also wrote a small utility to add the entries to the bda.ini

Edit: by "officially supported" I mean as a BDA device. To anyone else reading this, please note that it is an ATSC device and sub cannot use or test these types of devices.

No worries, I'd like one, but can't buy them all :-) Thanks for your feedback on that, it's all good.
Edited the Homerun entry here (but not in the WIKI).

The PCI express version ov the Pinnacle DUAL DVB card does not work out of the box with 1.0.8, but adding the following lines to bda.ini makes it work:

[Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA Digital Capture DVBT
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

The strings were found using graphedit...

Hope that this can help someone, and that it's maybe added to bda.ini in the future.
