I just reformatted and reinstalled windows xp, gbpvr, etc and noticed that the pie chart no longer shows in the system tab. I believe this may have something to do with my OS drive being the e: drive and the recordings drive being c:.

I'm looking in the logs for errors but I don't see anything about the pie chart in there. Maybe someone else will spot something.

zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

I should also mention that I'm not able to get transcoding to work anymore since the reinstall. I verified that ffmpeg is in the gbpvr directory under /third party/ffmpeg or something similar (whatever the default is) but it won't transcode. I tried divx, xvid, and ipod with no luck. I think this e: install really screwed things up for me Sad

There has always been a few people with this problem. I'm not sure why, and dont know what you need to do to fix it.

Its not a GB-PVR specific error. Its something related to the use of WMI on your machine. If you google for "COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used" you should find a few hits. Hopefully one of those will let you know what registry setting needs to be changed.

I did see this in your logs, and its an easy fix, but can you zip and attach your config.xml? I want to understand why it is happening.

If you remove the exe="ffmpeg.exe" bits from the <CustomFFmpegConversions> section of config.xml, then it'll correct the issue you had with file conversion.
