Recordings of 0KB before the real one starts

I'm having a weird issue with .9808. Recently, my recordings have started by creating a file of 0KB in size that shows up as a recording in GBPVR, once or twice, until the real recording kicks in and the show is fully recorded. Sometimes it does create a file of some length (very small) and records a very short clip at the start, before closing and starting again.

How can I stop these file creations/recordings?

I'm using Windows XP and a PVR 150MCE.

It doesnt ring any bells for me. I dont remember having to solve this for anyone else in the past.

If you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

OK I figured it out. Xrecord is making more then one recording request and so the recording is getting cut off the same number of times the same show is in the recording queue.

Looks like its a problem with that publin.
