Hi

I bought a new tv capture card and successfully configured his settings in the bda.ini but gb-pvr dosn`t saving the channels.
I can see in the right corner that gb-pvr finds channels bit dosnt saving the channels.

[DW PCI_S 2002]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVB WORLD BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVB WORLD BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

After the channel scan, did you map each of the channels? If not, then the channels will have the 'enabled' checkmark removed.

On the left, next to each channel, you have to click the 'tuning' column and select a channel from the dropdown list.

I meant gbpvr dosn`t saving the frequencys so i have no option to map the channels.

BDAMultiplexer>CyberLink</BDAMultiplexer>
<BDAAutoDetectTuner>true</BDAAutoDetectTuner>
<BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser>
<BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>1</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>10</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>
<BDAPsiSendsCaPMT>true</BDAPsiSendsCaPMT>
<BDAAutoScan166KHzOffset>true</BDAAutoScan166KHzOffset>
<BDAQuickPidSwitch>true</BDAQuickPidSwitch>
<BDAAutoMapPids>true</BDAAutoMapPids>
<BDAIgnoreAC3Channels>false</BDAIgnoreAC3Channels>
<BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord>false</BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord>
<BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnLivePreview>false</BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnLivePreview>
<BDAIgnoreRadioDuringChannelScan>true</BDAIgnoreRadioDuringChannelScan>
<BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>true</BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>
<BDASaveDisplayNameDuringScan>true</BDASaveDisplayNameDuringScan>
<BDAEnableDvbSubtitles>false</BDAEnableDvbSubtitles>
<BDAAlwaysAddTIFAndSections>true</BDAAlwaysAddTIFAndSections>
<BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording>30</BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording>
<BDAOnlyScanOnLock>true</BDAOnlyScanOnLock>

and gbpvr gots just signal strength after i changed this option from true to false. <BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser>

but no saving of frequencies

changing this options

<BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>1</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>10</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>

dosn`t helped too.

GB-PVR no longer works if you set <BDAUsePsiParser> to false. It needs to be set to true while scanning.

Did it find any channels when you clicked the 'map digital channels to epg channels' to do the scan?

unfortunately no

without changing this option <BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser>, gbpvr does nothing, just hanging, but if i change than i can see that sometimes pops a channel up for a few seconds in the right top corner while scanning, but doesn`t saving the frequencys.

thanks for your support

Make sure <BDAUsePsiParser> is set to true, then try to do the channel scan, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Can you try temporarily creating the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\devnz\LogPSIParsing=2 (DWORD)

Then do the scan again, then zip and attach c:\psi.log. After doing this, delete the registry setting again.

sub sorry, I´ve triven what you said but wasn`t able to handle.

Now I`ve done it, with your filtercheck tool.I´ve seen in the log file of the filtercheck toot that i had connected the wrong pids.

The right BDA configuration is:

[DW PCI_S 2002]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVB WORLD BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVB WORLD BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=Output1
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

The card is manufactured by Dexatek, very cheap and stable card.

Thank you so much for your support

regards
