Hi,

I'd like to report a quirk I'm experiencing when pausing Live TV when pressing the "Pause" button while in Overlay (and only in Overlay). It results in the following: "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

The error does not occur when using Ctrl-Q to pause, nor does the error occur when using the mouse to click the "Pause" button after initially using Ctrl-Q one time. That seems pretty odd, but I'm just a layman at these things.

I first tried Ctrl-Q after searching for threads on this error and in one thread Sub suggested trying this. However, I haven't been able to find a solution.

If I'm missing something or someone has a suggestion, please let me know. Overlay is the only mode in which I have been able to get smooth video while watching full 1080 broadcasts. I'm using the Cyberlink video decoder. I also got an error when pausing last week when I first set my system up and was using PureVideo, although at that time I didn't know to try Ctrl-Q. Partly because of this, I decided to reformat my HD and reinstalled XP and etc over the weekend. PureVideo has not been installed since the re-formatting.

Attached find my .log files. Not sure which to post so I zipped all of them.

Rgds,

-Rod

Its a known problem that can occur when using ATSC devices. Just press Ctrl-Q, or pause button on your remote instead of using the mouse.
