I would find it extremely useful to have a disable record button to a previously configured recording setup from within TV Guide.
Eg. I have a weekly recording from 8.30pm to 9.30pm (with post show padding) each Friday. Next Friday shows a once-off programme I would also like to view starting at 9.30pm.
If I could go into the recurring section in recordings, then click on the programme concerned button and see the following buttons:
Exit
Cancel
Disable
Update
I could disable the programme, then set up a manual recording for the entire two hours. At present, I am forced to discard the original one hour record, set up a manual record, then resetup a new weekly programme recording. Because if I don't do this, Comskip will cause the recording to miss a section between the two programmes.
And if the timing is not exact, then it will result in missing either the ending of the first show or the start of the second one.
