7th on the list and I seem not to have moved, so I'm going to do a Jim and throw a little tant about more recent requests "bumping older ones down the list".
In addition, there are now 2 additional (refs) for my original request, but these subsequent requests are not totally similar, as the 2nd two call for saved searches or more powerful filtering, whereas my original one is a sort of an attempt at a "don't miss your favourite show" function.
It would work like this:
Cheers and thanks UJB, EWB is still great :-)

It would work like this:
- Lets say every year NYPD or ER shows on TV.
- Now if I left last years "Season Recording" it would only record NYPD (XII) or ER (XII) whereas this year its NYPD (XIII) or ER (XIII).
- So I want to have a section with saved searches (lets say "NYPD" on XYZ Channel, but not one where I have to manually do that saved search, but rather everytime the EPG is updated (or every 1 week or 2 weeks or whatever time interval), if it sees that NYPD has popped up in the EPG it gives me an alert at login "Saved Search Program found - Do you want to view".
- Or even a check-box option to automatically season record any shows with "NYPD" in the name on XYZ Channel, so I don't even have to manually schedule it.
Cheers and thanks UJB, EWB is still great :-)
