You need to use HIP. See http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tips/HipGuide2

Yes, take the time to config HIP. I finally did it the other night and it works sooo much better than the MCE right out of the box.
There's a nice PDF tutorial on how to config HIP but i dont remember wher i found it.

The pdf is right from the wiki. It is basically the HipSend Part one, including several extra illustrations.

In Part 2, as sub suggested, it goes into more detail on using the two seperate STBs...

I wrote part two, and have had it working quite well. (don't use STBs at the moment though)

If you have questions, shoot...

Personally, I have had MUCH better results using GBPVRs built in MCE channel changer functionality than using HIP. No matter how many times I trained HIP and changed delays it would miss digits and fail to change to correct channel over half the time. Your mileage may vary.

It works fine for me, too.

I had HIP working but once I tried the built-in and found it to work just as well I stopped using HIP. One less thing to run...
