Playing with MEncoder in ZProcess

Currently I only play dvix and xvid. I will add a capture card soon - but I read that the Hauppauge tweak tool for the 150 does wonders to the colors...

I am very excited to see the next release of Z!!! (I will also test routing the signal through my home theater this afternoon using svideo which might solve the issue).

The hauppauge tweak tool only tweaks the recording of new material. Goiod luck with the new beta...

1.0.767 now uses MEncoder to transcode. It's faster for an AVI to MPG transcode, which is great for MediaMVP...

But the coolest thing I'm playing with is colour correction. It's working, but I'm writing the docs as I release.

Before you try this new version I ask:

• That you read my Stickys in the main ZProcess sub forum.
  
• That you backup your current configuration
  
• That you are prepared to do a complete reinstall of ZProcess
  
• That you reread my stickys
  
• That you have loads of patience: I've done some things differently in this version. If ZProcess doesn't handle the same as it did, it's because it isn't the same. Re-re-read the stickys and then try again...
