I've just installed the latest version of GB-PVR (0.98.13b) on my PC with a FireDTV BDA DVB-C card. Installation appeared to go smoothly, with config all channels were discovered (in Map digital channels to EPG channels); however only a small subset of the channels (15 out of the more than 100 that I have access to) actually give a signal. All others show the message "No signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough" in Live TV.

I'm positive there is nothing wrong with the cable since I've got Showshifter installed on the same box (in the process of migrating, if I get this fixed), which does show most of the channels.

Any ideas what is going wrong? Latest log files attached.

Thanks for any help!

The logs show you're trying to watch encrypted channels. GB-PVR does not support CAM modules so you can only watch free to air channels.

Thanks - a quick and clear response. Too bad it means I can't use gb-pvr for the moment. Any plans of supporting encrypted channels in a next release?

No, there will not be CAM support in the next release. Maybe in the future sometime though.
