Help with "Panels"

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to change the color of a specific piece of text. The text on the bottom of the main screen of the X-theme that shows what is recording soon is black, and I would like to change the color. I've been using the SkinEdit program and have been able to alter the skin to suit the new back ground that I put in, but I can't seem to find this one piece. I think it's a "Panel" but I can't figure out how to change it. I'm using the built in Recordings plug-in from version 98.13b.

In the folder "Panels" under the skin name, you will find the xml's for those panels. You can change the font colors there.

See, that's what I thought too. But when I look at the file in Panels called "NextRecording.xml" it doesn't give the code for the color.

I just did a little digging and I figured it out. It's pulling it from the baseskin.xml in the root of the skin folder.

I see, I don't have that skin downloaded here so I was going on an assumption.

I'll download it so I am better informed to help others with skin questions.

The color of the recording status at the bottom of the screen is controlled by this tag in the baseskin.xml
<TextStyle name="NextRecording" color="LightGray" typeFace="Arial" size="20" style="bold"/>

But the color is set to Lightgray, so I dont know how you have gotten black?
