Problem setting up PCTV HD pro stick tuner

Correct, the cable box is only putting an analog signal out on the composite cable.
The digital cable box is receiving digital cable signals and converting it to analog for display on a regular tv (which only accepts analog TV signals).

The easiest way would be to use a supported analog capture device lika Hauppauge PVR150 etc.
In theory, you might be able to get it to work with your prostick using this plugin: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753, but I cant provide you any help setting it up, and I dont provide any support for it.
