First of all, thanks for an excellent application!

Second, my little christmas-wish:
Support for the swedish (Norwegian, danish) characters å, ä and ö in the Search programguide-menu.

There are some shows here in sweden which titles begin with those chars.

Thats it...

Once again, thanks for the app, and keep up the good work!

I was probably a bit fuzzy on this... Of course there is excellent support for swedish chars in general in the application, but the only place i miss it in is the "Search Guide" submenu...
In the list to the left...

well, this is definetly not a high-priority thing, but perhaps in the future..

I tried the swedish translation but it didn't do the trick...

Cheers!

All accented characters in my TV guide and in the OSD display appear corrupted. I am using version 2311 with xmltv 0.5.36 to pull the listings, mainly from tv_grab_nl and tv_grab_nl_wolf.
Has any one experienced this problem?
Thanks.

There are quite a few users currently using international character sets, and I not aware of any problems. You can send me a screenshot and example xmltv file which I identify the error clearly. My email is support@devnz.com

erikl, I missed you question about the characters in the search screen - this can be changed in the skin's search\skin.xml file.

Worked perfectly with the skin.xml-file and å, ä, ö.
Thanks!

I tried adding the letters å, ä and ö to the list of letters but now when I try to enter the search all I get is an "Error: There is an invalid character in the given encoding. Line 19, position 90." Where's the problem?

You may need to add something like the following to the first line of the XML:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
