Thanks for implementing the sort on original air date so quickly.

Now, I have another request. Would it be possible to put in an indicator for when a show is broadcast in High Def. In the xml for the listings, shows that are broadcast in HD have an entry hdtv="true". Would it be possible to use this like the repeat indicator? I envision a check box on the config page & if it is selected, the shows that have hdtv="true" get a "(HD)" in their listing.

Thanks,
Elihu
P.S. Does anyone know if sub is planning to add the original air date (oad) to the listing for regular gbpvr? Or, is that something that could be done with a skin change? I know there is a utility that adds the oad to the front of each listing, but I personally didn't like that.

I'll have to check on the setting to see what EPG's offer it. The repeat indicator is only available via Zap2it....that is why it is only available to ZapTools users and why sub has not added it to GBPVR.

He tries to limit what is in GBVPR to things that can be used by everyone globally (that is literally globably) :-)

It has been a while since I looked at the Zapwit data schema....so I will look into that and see what is available.

Are you a Zap2it EPG user?

That makes sense for sub to do that.

Yes, I use Zap2It.

I just got a new HD tuner & I need evaluate how I want to use it. Right now I have two different accounts on Zap2It - one for my standard cable & a second for the digital channels form my over the air (ota) HDTV tuner. I download the listings for both. The listings in gbpvr & EWA are funny because the digital channels show up at the end of the regular channels with number channels higher than the last regular channel, but not related to their actual location on the dial. (If I say "on the dial" like that, does it show my age & make me seem old? Smile ) So, I need to figure out how to configure the standard vs. digital stuff. I realize I am over-sharing & it has nothing to do with you. I'll just hit submit now.

I have updated ZapTools to gather the High Def indicator. You will need to use ZapTools for the indicator to show up in EWA. See the instructions on the wiki.

ZapTools will allow you to download both of your accounts listings as well.

When the next release of EWA comes out there will be an option in the Config to see the HD indicator....if you set this to true it will show up in the Guide Listing.

Not sure if Zap2it it going to show the HD indicator the way you suspect....from what I am seeing it shows up on shows that are on HD channels.....but not on the same shows that are on non-hd channels....

If I had it my way I would have it show up on any show that is available in HD period....but I think there thinking is to only flag it on channels that are broadcasting in hd....
