Newbie question - 2 channels freezing

I've just installed the software today, it's running on a Hauppauge Nova-T PCI (90003)

It's largely running properly, but I've got a couple of problems.

The big one is that Five and ITV2 are frozen when I look at them. The audio is working, but I get a snapshot of what is happening when the channel starts. Using the up-channel or down-channel buttons on the remote doesn't clear it, but when I press the number buttons to select a new channel, it clears itself and the software works properly.

It's only Five and ITV2 that do this. The both work properly in WinTV2000. After a scan there is a Five #2 and a ITV2 #2 entry, but selecting those doesn't improve things.

Any suggestions?

Try a different video decoder.

That seems to have done it.

Changing from the System Default to the Intervideo setting appears to have sorted it out.
