Hi

I tried the WebCams2 plugin.
The list shows up but no web cam image shows up.
Untagged the Webcam image section in the skin.xml, but still no image.
The GBPVRUIElements v5.5 and CommonGBPVRUtilties DLL files are up to date
Any tip?

Problem solved. I did not copy the WebCamsCache directory

Attached a skin.xml file that works with Blue /_CoreImages and Basic skin.
Best Regards

Hi McBain

If you can consider another format for the WebCams.XML file, then I can deliver WebCams links from an Excel sheet. I have totally 3500 webcam links in the Excel sheet now.

I have enclosed around 200 WebCams for UK.
Best Regards

Could you attach the Excell file? A bit more readable than xml Smile

Hi

Enclosed a ZIP with Excel sheet and XML file.
I changed the XML syntax a little bit.
I wanted it more general so it could work with web links....something that is "growing" in my head.
In the future I can see a database with different "Types" of web links, Web, Radio, TV, WebCam or whatever, but using the same syntax in an Excels sheet or Database.
I thinnk that we shall have the WebCam.xmls in a WebCams dir in media.
Having 3000 web cam links in 1 file is not practcal. I will make 1 file for each country, if you will adjust the WebCams2 to this new syntax....style.

I am working on "cleaning" data for th other countries.
I am also working on a country definition XML for use with XMLs like WebCamsUK.
Flags will also be avaliable in that dir /media/country
Best Regards

I find that WebCams are personal and often people like to have WebCams from different countries - I for one like the Africa wildlife WebCams.

When your xml style is stable I will look into adding support for it but for now I would prefer to leave it up to the user to decide what WebCams to have - possibly with some suggestions like those on the wiki page.

OK, I will do some thinking on the structure and funktionality of web links.
I'll put webcam links on hold until the idea is taking shape.
